Allied Moxy - Intern

Allied Moxy is a public relations and marketing firm in Hollywood that specializes in targeting African American audiences. There I engaged in creative marketing and public relations strategies around some of the biggest films and television shows in the world. I was tasked with researching and finding new media outlets and influencers. Searching social analytics for trends involving our clients, and pitching journalist about feature's regarding stars in movies we represented.

August 2012- January 2014

California State University Chancellor's Office - Student Academic support - intern

I was in charge of assisting an entire department. Filled out expense reports, arranged meetings, made travel arrangements, mailed packages, handled inventory and much more logistical work. I received Inquiries daily, while using excellent communication to direct students through the CSU application process.

January 2015- July 2017

Tiger Freight - Customer Service - Sales

Multiple years in cold calling and sales pitches to some of the biggest brand distributors around the county.
Researched potential leads from business directories, web searches and digital resources. Developed elite interpersonal skills while managing communication with senior executives, supervisors and a diverse customer base. Was able to understand customers needs by coming up with solutions and support.
